This complex and highly introspective collage work explores the artist’s personal story .The abstract representation of a tree and the entanglement of its strong roots reference to the artist’s strong attachment to her Puerto Rican origin. Some of the artworks contains pictures of the artist when she was younger as a witness to the beauty and complexity of the Puerto Rican Landscape.
